On a Serious Note - Inspiration

Hi All!
It was long since i wrote in here.
This time I have come up with a bit uninteresting story about Inspirations and Role Models.

Disclaimer! I am writing this as a layman’s thoughts with a Social and Geographical constraint of the Tamil Society. (Alright I understand your Question “then why at all this guy wrote this in English?”... but I am Sorry… I couldn't help that :-) ).. The thoughts are as usual boring lectures any man would say.. But still I couldn't resist writing here.

I feel funny when people talk and inspire personalities like Che Guevara... Fidel Castro etc.... Just by wearing a Che T-shirt, he can’t be your style icon. Che is a qualified physician before becoming a revolutionist. How many know this fact actually before getting inspired?? .. But I am not here to mention that they are not to be praised... Before praising or getting inspired about some personality, one must know one's own political and social background to take a personality as their role model.... Knowing big things and mere talking about the French Revolution and Cuban Revolutions doesn't make you a social thinker... The Society starts from you... your family.. your friends... your city... your state... your country... and finally the world... You may have not even known the struggles of your Dad or Mom... but just speaking of struggles of personalities is just a show off.... There are a lot to learn personally from your own family... from your own society.

Inspirations or Role models is a more of a social term than a personal term. One fact is Everyone is unique and you can’t become someone. In most of the cases, people get inspired of famous personalities just by their outlook and a few facts learnt from the Internet. Inspiration should be based on one’s social set up.. One needs no inspiration at all to be good and to do good.. But still a role model is a scale of your inspiration level... Now a days Role models and Inspirations have become a fact for posting social networking and gaining popularity.. Becoming popular is not the sole purpose of setting a role model.. It is what one has learnt from their role model and ultimately it is social and personal well-being.. Most of the role models exist only at the time of Interviews and personality development programs. To become as your role model is a very long way… Mostly a role model is chosen, restricted only to the quality “success” and is a fact used for career options.. Qualities are far beyond mere success.. The qualities of individual like dedication.. spiritualism… social well being and a lot more are essential while setting a role model…. The world has given a wide knowledge for us to choose a role model from a lot of “options?”! But it has prevented to get a deep knowledge about oneself… What is our social history? What heritage does our own society has? Why we are the way as we are now? Only by understanding these we can get to know what we have got to do in this society.

After the entire blabbering above, that would have made you irritated, I would just conclude with these words that I had actually wanted to convey.

Keep your role model as your father who strives his best for your goodness..

Learn the love from your Mom who cares for you more than anything
Before getting amazed by the philosophies of Socrates listen to your Grandparents who saw three generations of life…
Appreciate the Friend that has brought out the best of you..
Before praising Che or Castro know about our own Tiruppur Kumaran, VOC and Kattabomman of their patriotism…
Before taking Einstein & Edison as professional role models learn the dedication from your Teacher and the friendliness of your Boss…

I dedicate this post to my role models-My Family, My Friends, My Teachers and My Boss

Kodana Kodi Nandrigal…!!!
